From a description of Animal Collective’s “visual album”: “ODDSAC is a dense and surreal layering of audio and visual elements that eschews conventional narrative to create a visceral viewing experience.” Seriously? SERIOUSLY? That sentence is exactly as generic as Animal Collective and their fans think they aren’t.
